VENDOR MANAGMENTt:
Identifying new vendors in North Vietnam
Sending out Request For Quotation to existing and prospective vendors
Following up with vendors on quote status.
Providing feedback on quotes to vendors
Identifying prospective vendors for on-site audits based on bid competitiveness
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Redaction of technical drawings
Working via our project management software to manage quote requests
Dividing RFQ's by manufacturing process
Qualifying received bids according to project requirements and vendor capabilities
Uploading and tracking bids to project management program
Linking like tasks for historical reference
Update Project Management system and manage status changes
OPERATIONS
Maintaining company profiles, equipment lists, capability matrix for bidding factories
Breaking out quotes into specific cost inputs before production
Organizing vendors met at trade shows: details and follow ups

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Vietnamese+English proficiency required
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Material Science or Mechanical Engineering
5 years minimum of experience in Manufacturing Operation/Support
Experience in Casting, CNC Machining, Forging or other metal manufacturing processes
Ability to think strategically and communicate effectively with vendors and management
Ability to manage ambiguity and apply problem-solving skills
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and work effectively under deadlines
Ability to independently lead teams and execute on functional responsibilities
Experience with factory costing a plus
