ABOUT THE POSITION:
● The Sourcing staff is responsible for sourcing appropriate sourcing including new and existing sourcing, ensuring that the selected sourcing meets the company's requirements for quality, price and schedule.
● The sourcing staff under the direction of the sourcing manager is responsible for working with suppliers to develop new products or improve existing products to meet the needs of their customers. meet the production needs of the company.
Essential functions and key responsibilities are:
● Following up the department's plan, submit a request for Quote (RFQ) to vendors, negotiating price, quantity, payment terms and delivery schedules with suppliers.
● Generating quote comparisons and report to the sourcing manager
● Negotiating contract terms with suppliers under the guidance of supervisor
● Participates in collaborating with relevant departments to evaluate the performance of current suppliers and identify areas for improvement.
● Following up the timeline of new components development to ensure lead time and quality that the company requires.
● Carry out the payment procedures for
purchasing fixed assets such as molds after the products are qualified
● Participates in searching for suitable new suppliers, new materials to replace the current ones under the guidance of the manager.
● Constantly trying to find opportunities to cost down as well as build a quality, potential and economical sourcing system.
● Comply with daily performance metrics in managing incoming sourcing activity.
● Receive information about design changes to send to suppliers and confirm the necessary quotation and mold repair time. Coordinate with related departments to ensure improved goods are on schedule and do not affect production
● Perform other duties as manager assigned.
Yêu cầu
Experience:
● At least 2 years working experience in planning, sourcing, negotiating, contracting, and supply chain management.
Skills/personal qualifications:
● Honesty, integrity, progressive.
● Sharp and creative thinking at work
● Good communication and negotiation skills
● Ability to work independently and able to work under pressure.
● Quickly learn and adapt to enhanced work processes.
● Good ability in teamwork, strong collaboration skills
● Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
● Good communication in English or Chinese
Education and Certifications:
● Bachelors' degree required.
