SPM (Single Point Mooring) Operator

SPM Team Operator is responsible for performing all tasks assigned in a safe and responsible manner in accordance with the established SPM operating procedures and written and oral instructions from Berth Master and SPM Team Leader.
For this position, minimum works are as follows,
· Works at Jetty and SPM area and is in constant communication with the Berth Master / SPM Team Leader directly and/or by radio in tanker mooring / unmooring operation, crude oil unloading and related works.
· Work with outsourcing company staff to perform tanker mooring / unmooring operation, crude oil unloading and related works in accordance with direction of the Berth Master and SPM team leader.
· Responsible for conducting pre-berthing and post- unberthing checklist
· During unloading: Observe/ carry out check list for local instruments, gauges, and meters, hawser [protected info] accordance with requirement in approved operating procedures; Do patrol to ensures that the equipment is operating normally and there are no unusual conditions existed.
· Collect samples of various streams and deliver them to the laboratory.
· Keep and periodically do inventory for operation tools to maintain them in good order and enough stock.
· Supervise maintenance works in cooperation with maintenance outsourcing company when assigned.
· Attend oil spill and firefighting drill as required.
