About This Opportunity
The Sr. Production Coordinator role is a full-time position that is responsible for order placement, tracking production, monitoring delivery status and helping to ensure on time deliveries while delivering great quality goods.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Responsible for daily sampling correspondence with multiple overseas factories across all Walmart programs.
• Order placement (creating/issuing PO's), tracking production and monitoring delivery status by actively studying and challenging WIP charts.
• Be the main point of communication between the production team and manufacturers on all production details, both overseas and domestic - provide feedback and clear direction with regards to production status for all products and ensuring all issues are resolved.
• Adhere to timelines by meeting all due dates, ensuring the 100% completion of all products, and monitoring the production process constantly in compliance with specified instructions and timelines.
• Influence, manage and facilitate timely approvals of samples, fabrics and trims to support on-time deliveries.
• Successful candidate will track production processes daily, maintain contact with overseas offices, factories as necessary, input purchase orders and maintain data, follow up on preproduction and production samples.
Yêu cầu
Qualifications:
• Min 4-6 years of experiences in following up with factories and coordinating production process from the initial steps of placing orders to the final execution.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the apparel industry, construction methods, fabrications, trims, and relevant technologies.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Adobe Illustrator, and PLM experience is a plus.
• Must have a strong sense of urgency and strong ability to pay close attention to detail.
• Must be extremely detailed, organized, and able to work under pressure and have good communication skills.
• Must have excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
