Required duties and responsibilities

Managing and archiving student files due to current regulations of academic and students affairs.
Being ready to provide student statistics to the supervisor when required.
Introducing and supporting students for issues related to financial aids, student loans, internship programs, housing, recreational and cultural activities, academics and student life.
Acting as the secretary in the scholarship selection commitee of VJU.
Organizing career orientation, events, seminars to provide students with professional job seeking skills.
Diseminating student affairs introduction from higher levels for students to implement.
Acting as secretary in the student discipline committee.
Promoting and supporting student association & clubs.
Working with faculty assistants and relevant staff for the supports of undergraduate students.
Being involved in building VJU student's image.
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor and higher degree.
Work experience: Minimum 2 years of working experiences in education sector with focus on student affairs, student support..
Foreign language: Be fluent in spoken and written English (IELTS 5.5 or equivalent).
Preferred skills:
- Proficient computer skills, especially office skills
- Ability to work under pressure and make deadlines.
- Good judgment; professional problem solving skills; ability to handle multiple tasks; self-motivated; well organized.
- Strong communication skills (both written and oral) and teamwork skills.
Attitudes:

High commitment to deadline.
Highly responsible toward work.
Responsibility, accountability and services oriented.

Basic salary: discuss during the interview.

Recruitment process

Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by recruitment committee established by the University.
Successful candidate will be offered a 1-year contract with 2 months' probation period. The Incumbent can be offered another 2-year contract upon the satisfaction of his/her performance.
