Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for an Regional Supply Chain Manager (Manufacturing, English and Chinese, Open for Locals and Expats $4000, ID20035):
1. Process Optimization & Efficiency
Analyze and streamline regional supply chain workflows to maximize operational efficiency.
Identify bottlenecks and implement lean methodologies to reduce total landed costs.
2. Regional "Control Tower" & Market Intelligence
Continuously collect and update regional market data to stay ahead of industry trends.
Act as the primary alert system (Control Tower) to mitigate risks related to price fluctuations, material shortages, or delivery crises.
3. Strategic Planning
Develop and execute long-term strategic plans aligned with global business objectives.
Forecast future capacity requirements and infrastructure needs across the regional network.
4. Strategic Sourcing & Procurement
Oversee the end-to-end
purchasing of raw materials and services.
Lead high-level contract negotiations and maintain robust relationships with a diverse portfolio of regional suppliers and vendors.
5. Data-Driven Decision Making
Utilize advanced analytical tools to monitor KPIs and supply chain performance.
Transform complex data sets into actionable insights to support executive decision-making.
Requirement
Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, Global Logistics, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain operations, with specific expertise in:
Inventory Management & Procurement
Logistics & Global Distribution
Demand Forecasting & Contract Management
Language Skills:
English: Professional proficiency (TOEIC 750+ or equivalent).
Chinese (Mandarin): Fluent (required for regional communication).
Technical & Soft Skills:
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to present data logically and persuasively in high-level meetings.
