Supply Chain Project Specialist

Peregrine Management International LLC, an American management advisory company, is seeking a full-time candidate to fill a logistics and supply chain role. Peregrine Management International LLC advises clients on a variety of projects and products that involve international business, trade, FDI, and real estate topics.
This is a fulltime entry-level supply chain (strategic sourcing, materials management, logistics) analyst role to our supply chain advisory business. The working location for this job is in Tay Ho District, Hanoi. As an entry level position, training will be provided to applicants in all areas of work. This role will analyze and solve business problems in a wide variety of markets, so working flexibility is a key attribute for a successful applicant.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Interacting with suppliers to schedule delivery times and resolve shipping errors
• Optimization of logistic solutions for both inbound and outbound shipments
• Authorizing payments and maintain receipts, records, and inventories
• Utilization of lean management principles to optimize material flow with suppliers
• Attend industry trade shows to learn about and stay current on trends and to meet suppliers
• Evaluating suppliers by considering price, quality, availability, and other criteria
• Negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers to obtain the best deals on behalf of the company
• Attending on-site supplier visits for assessments, negotiations, business reviews, etc.
• Developing and managing project schedules to ensure timely delivery of projects
• Analyzes data and develops tools to manage various commodities and suppliers
• Manage the entire strategic sourcing process from supplier prospecting through production
