The Job

You have understanding that the software lifecycle doesn't end with committing the code into repository, and knowledge of how it is running in production is as important as code itself, hence you are keeping your infrastructure knowledge and skills up-to-date. You have a preferred programming language, but on practice it doesn't make a difference for you what to use.
- Lead the System Engineer team to build and support a large systems environment by advising on design concepts and changes, implementation strategies and deployment timelines;
- Coordinate with engineering team and product team to design effective solutions that meet requirements for functionality and integration with existing components;
- Manage development and deployment of software and other computer systems technologies to ensure compliance with operational requirements for security, performance, reliability and scalability;
- Research existing and emerging hardware and software technologies to determine capabilities and cost- benefits relationship, and develop ongoing computer systems solutions that meet performance and budgetary requirements;
- Create thorough documentation records of design specifications and instructional manuals as necessary to enable all computer systems personnel and end users to interact correctly and effectively with hardware and software systems.
Your Skills and Experience
- At least 5 years of system engineering experience of which minimum 2 years in Team Lead, Lead Engineer or similar roles;
- Hands-on knowledge of open source applications (RDBMS, NoSQL DB, WebServer, Caching, Proxy, Firewall,...) is a must;
- We prerfer candidates with skills to pentest holes in the top 10 OWASP. Has been pentest, attack real application systems , network system... Checking and discovering vulnerabilities related to application, network infrastructure and equipment;
- Experienced scripting skills (e.g., Python, shell scripting);
- Knowledge of TCP / IP network protocols and web applications;
- Excellent knowledge of Linux/Unix, Windows operating systems;
- Self-support, the desire to study new technologies;
- Good communication skills and ability to speak both to technical and non-technical people;
- Ability to work in a matrix structure with various stakeholders;
- Self-motivated, fast learner, detail-oriented, team player and a sense of humour.
