This Tax Accountant position is offered as a short-term contract ( 5 months), but with high potential to transition into a permanent role based on performance and new team's set up.
Reporting to:
Accounting ManagerWorking location: Triumph Vietnam Factory, Song Than 1 Industrial Zone, Di An City, HCM City.
Working time: 7:30 to 17:06, Mon to Fri
Job Summary:
To ensure financial reports and taxation reports to be prepared and presented accurately, relevantly and timely. And to ensure they are prepared in compliance with Triumph Financial Reporting Guidelines and VAS and applicable Tax regulations in Vietnam
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare and submit tax returns and tax payments, including Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Value Added Tax (VAT), Withholding Tax (WHT), Business License Tax, Non-Agricultural Land Tax, and other applicable taxes, ensuring accuracy and timely compliance with regulations;
Calculate, prepare, and record relevant journal entries, and reconcile related balance sheet accounts;
Liaise and negotiate with tax authorities on tax payment matters and other tax-related issues;
Lead VAT refund projects;
Assist tax audits and other local authorities audits in corporation with relevant authorities;
Assist year-end audit in corporation with external auditors;
Keep up to date with changes in IFRS (as guided by the Company Handbook), VAS, and tax regulations; assess their potential impact on the business and communicate relevant changes to stakeholders and the Accounting team
Review tax-related transactions regularly to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies;
Support the Accounting Manager and Head of Finance with tax-related analysis, reporting, and other assigned responsibilities
Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager and Head of Finance.
Maintain effective relationships with tax authorities and address tax inquiries, audits, and compliance matters in a timely manner
Review tax-related transactions regularly to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies;
Support the Accounting Manager and Head of Finance with tax-related analysis, reporting, and other assigned responsibilities
Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager and Head of Finance.
