Tax Manager

As a Manager of Global Employer Services (GES) team, you will work within an engagement team and draw on experience and knowledge in cross border mobility issues include tax, immigration and social security requirement to provide employment related consulting services to multinational clients on the employment tax planning, rewards design, development of tax policy, Human Resources process review, etc. of their international operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Manage the client portfolio as allocated by Partners.
• Ensure preparation of proposals, engagement letters and client take on procedures are completed timely.
• Manage multiple projects and assignments and ensure that services provided are within the agreed service level and scope whilst service delivery is in accordance to Deloitte quality standards.
• Manage the team and provide on job training to ensure client deliverables and deadlines are met with high quality.
• Effectively manage all routine compliance and advisory engagements in a timely manner.
• Oversee the individual tax compliance for clients and ensure that the process is managed well and deadlines are met; liaise with client to provide the necessary documentation, preparation of the individual tax computations and tax returns; filing the tax returns within the deadline dates.
• Assist Directors/Partners to develop/improve tax software for the team.
• Manage working capital and debtors for client portfolio.
• Business development aimed at growing the GES portfolio and revenues.
• Provide leadership, coaching and career guidance which aim to develop and motivate the engagement team.
• Assist with financial performance management of the team by monitoring billing and collections status
• Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
