Technical Designer - Dresses

Job Summary:
- The Technical Design Associate will oversee the technical execution of garment designs, ensuring precision in fit, construction, and specifications. This role requires a candidate with a strong background in patternmaking and garment technology, and openness to adopting 3D and AI-driven processes in workflow optimization and design analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Fit and Construction:
● Manage all aspects of garment fit development from prototype to Salesroom Sample stage.
● Conduct virtual fit sessions and make necessary pattern adjustments and call out annotations to meet design intent and brand standards.
● Develop and maintain complete and accurate tech packs: measurements, construction notes, call out photos, fabric/trims.
Collaboration and Communication:
● Translate designers' creative vision into technically sound garments using modern software tools.
● Liaise with patternmakers, factories, and sample rooms to resolve technical issues and maintain consistency.
● Provide clear and timely feedback to offshore vendors and internal teams.
● Use tracking tools to check in with offshore vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery.
Product Development:
● Evaluate samples at each development stage for technical accuracy and alignment with product goals.
● Maintain and monitor approval status across all development stages to quickly identify and resolve outstanding styles.
● Ensure fit approvals, pattern corrections, and production-ready specifications are delivered on schedule.
Process Improvement:
● Continuously optimize technical development workflows using technology and best practices.
● Contribute to innovation in fit and construction methods with a focus on efficiency and quality.
