Technical Designer (Garment)

Location: Ha Noi - Bac Giang
Responsibilities:
Sample Review (Development Stage): Review all development samples, including PROTO / FIT / PPS, prior to submission to buyers for comments or approval.
Construction:
• Ensure all samples strictly follow construction requirements, including Technical Pack (T/P), sketches, Bill of Materials (BOM), and other references such as buyer requirements or comments.
• Proactively communicate with buyers to clarify or seek guidance on construction-related issues when necessary.
Workmanship check:
• Identify workmanship issues during sample review.
• For major issues, ensure samples are reworked before submission to buyers.
• For minor issues, samples may be submitted to buyers with clear call-outs; meanwhile, collaborate with the factory to conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and develop Corrective Action Plans (CAP) to be implemented for bulk production and prevent recurrence.
Measurement check:
• Ensure all samples comply with measurement specifications outlined in the SPEC and other relevant references, including buyer requirements or comments.
• Communicate directly with buyers to clarify or seek advice on measurement-related issues when needed.
• For major measurement issues, samples must be corrected before submission to buyers.
• For minor measurement issues, submit samples with proper callouts and work with the factory on Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Plans to ensure issues are resolved before bulk production.
