ABOUT THE ROLE

We are now seeking a Technical designer to uphold our standards for excellence and drive customer satisfaction through your technical expertise, attention to detail, and leadership abilities. You will report directly to the Manager of Supply Chain Management and work closely with our fulfillment team and partnership factories.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Fit Validation: Ensure the proper fit of garments throughout the design process, from sample to production. Conduct fitting sessions and communicate any adjustments or improvements required.
• Technical Advice: Provide expert guidance to the design and production teams on technical garment construction, materials, and garment standards.
• Construction Quality: Oversee the garment construction process, ensuring that quality, workmanship, and design integrity meet required specifications.
• Pattern Grading: Develop and validate accurate pattern grading, ensuring consistency in sizing across all products.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous quality checks at each stage of product development and mass production to meet high standards, ensuring compliance with US and EU quality guidelines.
• Product Quality Assessment: Regularly assess product quality based on customer feedback, identifying areas for improvement and implementing design enhancements to meet customer expectations and industry standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including designers, pattern makers, production managers, and vendors to ensure smooth execution of designs and quality assurance.
• Fast-paced Environment: Thrive in an intensive, high-pressure work environment, focusing on delivering high-quality results within tight timelines.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
• Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Design, or related field from a recognized university, preferably with a focus on garment technology.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience working with US or EU export apparel brands, ensuring adherence to international quality and production standards.
• Experience with both intimate wear and outerwear products is a plus.
• Expertise in garment fitting, construction, and pattern grading.
• Strong understanding of US and EU garment standards, including regulations and quality compliance.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects within tight timelines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
• Critical thinking skills, with the ability to quickly identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• A growth mindset with a focus on continuous learning, improvement, and innovation in the apparel industry.
