Technical Lead / Manager

Overview:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Lead / Manager to join our Kingspan's Team. This role will work in both HCM City office and factory in Phu My, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province.
This is a new role in a diverse and challenging industry, providing organised technical support across the region, working with the Technical Director in the management of day to day technical support to meet Commercial requirement, across the region of APAC and other where necessary.
Leadership, strong interpersonal and communication skills are required to be successful within this role, as well as initiative and a positive proactive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
• Liaise with Commercial Team to provide design and detail solutions suitable for projects, Customers and markets supporting specification winning and sales development.
• Provide detailing assistance for Marketing Team to assist the preparation of best industry literature for Specifiers, Contractors and Building Owners.
• Provide a technical advice / design service to customers.
• Interpret customer requirements in relation to company product range.
• Prepare design reports supporting project specification.
• Support and train the Sales Team, attend customer sales meetings providing technical advice, to provide on-site support and advice for major projects.
• Take a lead role in overseeing Product Compliance for the business.
• Work with the Commercial, Marketing & Technical teams to put forward new product and service ideas based on market feedback and work with internal and external stakeholders to develop market ready solutions as well as ensuring that our full product offerings are fully compliant with all market requirements.
• Assist with the monitoring of the regulatory environment e.g., building and fire codes.
• Provides weekly report of projects under execution as required.
• Prepares Kingspan standing seam, cladding panels and insulated panel shop and erection drawings related to architectural and structural steel drawings.
• Take a lead role in the divisional compliance team, ensure Products are being legally placed on the market and conform to the relevant regional standards and achieved certifications.
• Review the current structure of our Technical Team to see how we can better integrate our services to give a more consistent and comprehensive level of support to our entire customer base and assist in delivering the maximum return on each product we work on.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
