Mô tả công việc
I. POSITION PURPOSE:
Liasing with Product Engineering and the Manufacturing teams, itentify and assess parts potential Localisation initiatives with our existing and future portfolio of vehicles. Working with Direct Purchasing, identify and assess potential Strategic Partners who have the ability to partner with VinFast and localise into the Supplier Park in order to provide world-class parts at a competitive cost. In consultation with all effected departments within VinFast, develop implementation plans to form a long term, strategic partnership between selected localisation projects. Develop a proposal and gain approval from the VinFast Senior Mangement Team for an assigned Localisation Initiative.
II. RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform investigations into the current and future VinFast vehicle programs and identify potential Localisation Initiatives
• Develop and maintain a list of potential Localisation initiatives.
• Assess all potential initiatives and develop technical assessments required for effective decision-making.
• Assess the financial viability of each initiative
• Track required actions for all VinFast departments who have an input to the delivery of each initiative.
• Working with the Supplier Park Financial Analyst, develop a business case to support each Localisation initiative.
• Develop an implementation plan for each the initiatives.
• Engage Plant and Equipment, Manufacturing Engineering, Purchasing, Quality and Material representatives where necessary in planning discussions to ensure that any potential issues are identified and actioned.
• Once the implementation plans for an initiative is approved at a working level, develop and deliver presentations to the Senior Leadership team to get approval for the required funding.
• Develop strategies to implement the recommended improvements.
• Participate in Joint Venture negotiations with potential suppliers.
• Represent Supplier Park in Technical reviews.
Yêu cầu
1) Education/ Professional knowledge:
- Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Management or Logistics field essential.
2) Skill, Experience:
- High level operational experience in the use of Microsoft PowerPoint
- Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to grasp and effectively use technical concepts and technical information.
- Highly motivated, self-starter, and active learner with strong interpersonal, communication, written and oral skills.
- Demonstrated ability to perform successfully in multi-national relationships.
- 7+ years' experience in a Planning or Project Management role, and a strong technical and financial mindset.
- Leadership experience preferred but not essential.
- PC experience to include Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, and Power Point required.
3) STANDARD COMPETENCY:
- Skilled in the use of MS Project
- Competent in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to present to Senior Leadership Team.
- Ability to develop a Business Case to support a manufacturing based project.
- Understanding of basic manufacturing processes (automotive preferred but not essential).
- Ability to develop strategies, gain approval and put a plan in place to implement.
