Sales Engineer to support business growth, strengthen customer relationships, and deliver reliable aftermarket and service solutions to industrial clients.
Job Summary
The Technical Sales Engineer is responsible for developing sales opportunities for spare parts, maintenance services, overhaul projects, and technical support solutions. This role combines engineering knowledge with customer relationship management and project coordination.
The successful candidate will work closely with customers, service partners, and internal teams to provide technical recommendations, prepare quotations, coordinate service activities, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Sales &
Business Development• Promote and sell spare parts, maintenance services, overhaul packages, and technical solutions
• Identify new customers and business opportunities in target industries
• Develop and maintain customer databases and market information
• Conduct customer visits, equipment surveys, and technical discussions
• Understand customer operational challenges and recommend suitable solutions
• Prepare technical and commercial quotations
• Negotiate pricing, scope, delivery schedules, and service agreements
• Achieve assigned sales targets and business objectives
Account Management
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers
• Support maintenance managers, plant engineers, and
purchasing teams
• Identify follow-up sales opportunities and future maintenance requirements
• Provide professional technical support and after-sales follow-up
• Maintain regular communication and customer engagement
Service Project Coordination
• Coordinate service and overhaul projects from quotation to handover
• Work with field service teams, subcontractors, and internal departments
• Monitor project schedules, service execution, and customer requirements
• Support site activities and service planning when required
• Ensure proper documentation and reporting for completed activities
Spare Parts & Reporting
• Prepare and follow up spare parts quotations
• Track sales opportunities, inquiries, and project pipelines
• Prepare visit reports, sales reports, and service activity updates
• Monitor customer feedback and market trends
• Support forecasting and business planning activities
