Technical Services Engineer

OVERVIEW
We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Services Engineer to join our Kingspan's Team. This role will be based in HCM City office, work in close collaboration with local Commercial team and APAC regional team.
The Technical Services Engineer is responsible for providing technical support and application services for customers and internal teams, ensuring compliance with technical standards and procedures.
This role supports the development, implementation and improvement of technical documentation, product testing, and customer support in line with current industry and regulatory requirements.
This role will work closely with the APAC Regional Technical Team to deliver high-quality technical solutions and ensure that technical service documentation and procedures are consistently maintained to the highest standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
• Liaise with Commercial Team to provide design and detail solutions suitable for projects, Customers and markets supporting specification winning and sales development.
• Provide a technical advice / design service to customers. Able to Influence and secure specifications and orders for Kingspan insulated panels and Kingzip product range.
• Provide detailing assistance for Marketing Team to assist the preparation of best industry literature for Specifiers, Contractors and Building Owners.
• Support compliance processes by identifying non-conformities, reporting to the Technical Lead, and helping maintain procedures aligned with company and regulatory standards.
• Work within the Technical team and liaising with Operations functions to supply feedback from sites, on new product and existing product application and performance.
• Support the assessment and implementation of technical aspects of business strategies within the technical department.
• Participate in identifying personal training and development needs to ensure continuous improvement and professional growth.
• Support the documentation and analysis of customer complaints, claims, and product issues to identify root causes and propose appropriate technical solutions.
• Build expertise in thermal, fire, acoustic, and environmental insulation technologies to support internal and external stakeholders effectively.
• Represent the technical team in internal meetings and, where appropriate, in industry associations, technical forums, or customer interactions under the guidance of senior technical staff.
• Analyse technical data and provide input on trends, threats, and opportunities related to the company's product performance and application in local markets.
• Ensure that all external technical documentation and communications meet professional standards and are aligned with the company's brand and compliance policies.
• Support technical project execution through reporting, coordination, testing, and documentation, following best practices and under leadership direction.
