Role Summary
T-ime Education Vietnam is looking for a freelance LMS Integration & Technical Support Specialist to support the implementation and ongoing technical integration of Renaissance Learning solutions with schools in Vietnam.
The role will act as a technical bridge between Renaissance Learning's technical teams in the United States, T-ime Education Vietnam, and IT teams at Vietnamese schools.
The successful candidate will support schools with LMS integration, including Canvas LTI connections, initial technical configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and communication of technical requirements between all parties.
Responsibilities
Support the technical implementation of Renaissance Learning solutions within Vietnamese schools.
Coordinate with Renaissance Learning's technical and support teams in the United States regarding integration requirements, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Work directly with school IT administrators to understand their existing LMS, network, user management, and system environment.
Support the setup, configuration, testing, and validation of Canvas LTI connections and other LMS integrations.
Assist schools with technical requirements relating to user access, authentication, SSO, rostering, permissions, and system configuration where applicable.
Translate technical requirements between Renaissance, T-ime Education, and school IT teams into clear and practical implementation steps.
Identify and troubleshoot integration issues during implementation and escalate issues to Renaissance technical teams when necessary.
Support testing before system launch and help ensure that integrations function correctly for administrators, teachers, and students.
Provide first-line local technical support following implementation.
Maintain clear technical documentation covering configuration, implementation steps, known issues, and resolutions.
Where required, participate in online meetings with Renaissance technical teams and on-site meetings with schools in Ho Chi Minh City.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience in LMS administration, systems integration, educational technology, IT support, or a related technical role.
Practical experience working with Learning Management Systems, preferably Canvas.
Previous experience implementing, configuring, or supporting LMS integrations or third-party SaaS platforms.
Experience with LTI-based integrations is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of LTI 1.3 / LTI Advantage would be highly desirable.
Experience with SSO, user authentication, APIs, user provisioning, rostering, or system integrations would be an advantage.
Experience working directly with school, university, or education-sector IT teams is preferred.
Previous experience supporting international software vendors, SaaS providers, or EdTech platforms would be an advantage.
Demonstrated experience in technical troubleshooting and resolving system integration issues.
Ability to communicate confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Good written and spoken English and Vietnamese, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly between international and Vietnamese teams.
What Success Looks Like The successful freelancer will enable Vietnamese schools to implement Renaissance solutions efficiently by ensuring that technical requirements are clearly understood, LMS connections are configured correctly, issues are resolved quickly, and communication between the school and Renaissance's international technical teams remains effective throughout the implementation process.
The role is expected to begin on a project basis, with the possibility of supporting additional school implementations and ongoing technical support as T-ime Education expands its Renaissance Learning business in Vietnam.
