Job description

We are looking for candidates for the position of Temporary Seafreight Operations Executive in 8 months of contract.
For this position, you are accountable for:
1. Work according to the Export process:
- Handle shipment as per SOP, HI.
- Receive booking from customer.
- Check with Overseas Agents/ Local Sales.
- Book with Shipping lines.
- Send confirmed booking to customer.
- Issue HBL.
- Have S/L issued MBL.
- Send pre-advice to Overseas Agent.
- Arrange trucker and warehouse requirements (if request).
- Monitor and confirm Departure / Arrival of freight.
- Enter all charges and profit shares.
- Close file, pass invoices and credit memos.
- Post information on system.
2. Work according to the import process: ( Back up when import team on annual leave or sick leave )
- Receive pre-advice from Overseas Agent.
- Set up files based on pre-advice.
- Arrange trucker and warehouse requirements.
- Monitor and confirm arrival of freight.
- Break down and distribute into files and calculate charges.
- Call & Send A/N to consignee & record it by Fax, Email.
- Issue debit note to customers, accounting departments.
- Ensure D/O is only released again payment only.
- Enter all charges and profit shares.
- Close file, pass invoices and credit memos.
- Post information on system
3. Responsible for customer contacts, follow up contacts per telephone and visits.
- Regular work with invoices, calculations of profit split and commissions, tracking and correcting mistakes in supplier invoices and following all quality routines.
- Assist in supplier and customer queries.
- Arrange collections.
- Contribute to development of team.
- Assure timely billing as per company policy.
Yêu cầu
REQUIREMENT:
- College or University graduated.
- At least 3 years relevant working experience. Knowledge of customs. Preferably knowledge of air or sea freight industry and processes.
- Familiar with and well able to work within the import/export process.
- Knows supplier conditions, deliver terms, Inco terms and
purchasing conditions.
- Knows risk and insurance terms.
- Familiar with and able to work with the company's quality and environmental policies.
- Good knowledge of computer system, both import/exports and invoicing.
- Knowledge of Customs tariff.
- Good communication skills.
- Financial awareness.
- Able to manage own working time effectively.
- Knowledge of service levels expected by clients - able to deliver them.
- Fluent spoke & written English.
