Purpose: Responsible for: (i) Driving business growth across Transaction Banking products and solutions, including CASA, payment solutions, FX/cross-border payments, payroll account packages, Privileges Banking packages, Business Banking packages, and bundled propositions with lending and cards; (ii) Leads customer acquisition, activation, usage growth, partnership development, and go-to-market execution across digital channels, MyVIB app, partner channels, and branch network.
Key Responsibilities
1. Growth Strategy, Customer Acquisition & Portfolio Growth (30%)
• Develop and execute Transaction Banking growth strategies across customer segments and distribution channels to achieve business objectives.
• Drive customer acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention initiatives to increase active customer base and transaction volumes.
• Identify and capture growth opportunities to increase CASA balances, payment transactions, payroll penetration, FX/cross-border activities, and bundled product adoption.
• Leverage customer insights, portfolio analytics, and market intelligence to identify growth opportunities, mitigate churn risks, and maximize cross-sell potential.
• Collaborate with Product teams to commercialize new propositions, pricing schemes, customer solutions, and value-added services.
2. Channel & Partnership Development (30%)
• Develop and manage growth channels, including strategic partnerships, digital platforms, MyVIB app, and branch network.
• Identify, establish, and manage partnerships that support customer acquisition, account activation, transaction growth, and customer engagement.
• Design customer propositions, commercial models, customer journeys, and activation programs across channels and partner ecosystems.
• Work closely with Branch Network and Digital Banking teams to enhance product visibility, customer experience, conversion rates, and channel productivity.
• Develop sales toolkits, value propositions, communication materials, and enablement programs to support frontline execution.
3. Growth Execution & Performance Management (25%)
• Plan and execute growth initiatives, campaigns, and business development programs across partner, digital, app, and branch channels.
• Monitor business performance and campaign effectiveness through data-driven analysis and regular performance reviews.
• Optimize initiatives, customer journeys, channel performance, and commercial outcomes based on customer insights and business results.
• Ensure all growth initiatives are commercially viable, operationally feasible, and compliant with internal policies, risk management, legal, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare business performance reports, growth forecasts, and recommendations for senior management.
4. Stakeholder & Team Leadership (15%)
• Build strong collaboration with Product, Digital Banking, Marketing, Data Analytics, Branch Network, Finance, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Operations teams to deliver business objectives.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Business Development team to achieve business targets and execution excellence.
• Establish clear priorities, accountability, execution plans, and performance expectations for team members.
• Foster a performance-driven, customer-centric, data-driven, and execution-focused culture within the team.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation in business development practices and growth initiatives.
5. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Line Manager and/or Management from time to time.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Economics, Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
• 7-10+ years of experience in banking, fintech, digital banking, payments, transaction banking, partnership, business development, or business growth.
• Strong experience in business development, partnership development, growth strategy, campaign management, channel activation, or sales performance management.
• Good understanding of CASA, payments, payroll accounts, digital banking, SME/business banking, or bundled financial solutions.
• Strong commercial mindset with ability to translate business objectives into executable growth initiatives.
• Good analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and execution skills.
• Hands-on leadership style with strong ownership and ability to work across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, people development, and professional ethics.
• Good English communication skills.
