The position of Industrial Control Specialist is a position to perform the day to day processing of accounts transactions to ensure that municipal finances are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner.
Coordinate physical inventory counts and cycle counts
Update standard costs in the bill of materials
Others upon requests
Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
Sort and match invoices and check requests
Assist in WCM activities
Prepare batches of invoices for data entry
Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures
Investigate cycle counting variances and resolve issues
Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies
Assist in month end closing
Preparation of CAPEX applications, validation of costs and benefits, manage subsequent spend, post implementation review
Review invoices and check requests
Prepare analysis of accounts
Resolve invoice discrepancies
Produce monthly Purchase Price Variance reports
Maintain updated vendor files and file numbers
Compiles and records statistical information
Yêu cầu
Working Background
1+ years of accounting/finance experience, or 3+ years experience in industrial manufacturing
Knowledge of accounts payable & general accounting procedures
Ability to work well under team
Knowledge of computer accounting methods, data processing practices and procedures.
Graduation from an accredited college or university with major course work in Accounting or Finance
Knowledge of modern office practices, procedures and equipment with a working knowledge and the ability to use personal computers and standard word processing programs, including Microsoft Excel. Experience in iScala (ERP), SAP will be a definite advantage
Ability to learn new job-related concepts, rules and procedures
Proficient in data entry and management
Passed F5 or/and F7 ACCA is preferred
Patiently and highly adaptable with multi-cultural working environment.
Ability to work and perform job responsibilities in a timely manner in order to meet scheduled deadlines and maintain confidentiality and honesty.
