* JOB SUMMARY:
NPD/PSE engineer perform required work for the projects, works closely with QE, ME and other departments to get the assigned work done accurately and on time
* RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow up competitive benchmarking and feasibility study.
- Follow up projects from design to mass production release.
- Follow up hand made samples and rapid prototyping.
- Prepare 3D layout for ID to precede conceptual design.
- Follow up continuous product improvement actions
- Coordinate with PMC and purchasing to organize EB, pilot run.
- Keep product file as most updated.
- Communicate with suppliers to confirm component specification, target cost and lead-time.
- Prepare 3D part drawing and detail 2D drawing, subassembly drawing, exploded view. Performing dimensioning and tolerance calculations. Capable to apply geometric tolerance dimensioning.
- Initiate
documentation like BOM, ECO and SER.
- Follow up safety approval with laboratory.
- Follow up reliability testing with QA laboratory.
- Follow up tool plan, mold and die debugging. Evaluate the new part according to the drawing.
Yêu cầu
***REQUIREMENT:
* Academic: University Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Production or other related Engineering discipline or equivalent
* Years of experience
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience in project follow up in the engineering industry. Working in power tools field is an advantage.
- Experience in Plastic Molding & Metal operations; 4. Experience in Gearbox system & Motor structure is an advantage
*Special knowledge
- Familiar with application for safety approval such as UL, CSA, CE, BS, SAA
- Familiar with UG or Pro-E.
- Good computer experience with Windows, Microsoft Office, email
communication, 2D and 3D CAD.
