Reporting to: Procurement Manager
Position: Project Procurement QS
Location: Diamond Island, Binh Trung Tay ward, District 2, HCMC

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prepare tender documents, and compare tenderer offers including bills of quantities from quotations and tenders submitted by material & equipment suppliers and contractors
• Have competency in quantity taking off from tender drawings and cross-checking the tender quantities;
• Undertake cost analysis from quotes and tenders from suppliers & contractors for the company's projects.
• Assist Procurement Manager to check/confirm and accept the delivery of materials and equipment in coordination with the project MEP team, and hand over to the main contractor for handling the installation and construction at the site.
• Able to work with project MEP team for checking/verifying Bill of Quantity.
• Assist Procurement Manager to prepare and submit cost comparison sheets and/or tender reports as required.
• Assist Procurement Manager to collect and formulate price & cost database for materials and equipment for the company.
• Assisting Procurement Manager to value completed work, liquidating the contracts and arranging payments for suppliers and contractors.

REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION:
• University Degree in Civil Engineering, M&E, Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification.
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:
• Solid knowledge about procurement process; supply chain management with working experience in real estate is an advantage.
EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum 2 years experience in the equivalent position, preferably in the real estate and construction industry.
• In-depth knowledge of sourcing and procurement principles and supply chain management best practices.
SKILL:
• Obtain quotations and analyze contract proposals while negotiating pricing, delivery, and terms and conditions to satisfy requirements for highly complex and specialized materials, equipment, components, and services.
• Resourceful, outgoing and organized
• Fluent in English.
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Plan, develop, and implement procurement strategies to maximize benefit while minimizing risk.
• Analyze and evaluate all elements of cost for commodity groups to identify and obtain cost improvements.
• Develop, implement, communicate, and monitor measures/benchmarks for managing inventory practices and sourcing/materials processes to improve supply base performance.
• Oversee resolution of disputes, deficiencies, and warranty claims
