Content Executive who thrives on creativity and execution. In this role, you'll dive into the exciting world of video content-from ideation and scripting to editing and optimizing performance. This is an incredible opportunity to work across two key areas: Marketing Communication and Performance, helping to create impactful video content for VUS's community of English learners.
Your main scopes:
Video Content Creation & Ideation
Video Production & Editing
Campaign support: Brainstorm creative video concepts for marketing campaigns, projects, and performance ads.
Scriptwriting: Write engaging, audience-focused scripts for diverse formats-from TikTok videos to digital ads.
Trendy formats: Create videos that align with current social media trends while staying true to VUS's brand identity.
Pre-production: Collaborate with
designers and stakeholders to develop visual treatments and storyboards.
Editing: Use video editing tools to bring ideas to life, ensuring quality and brand consistency.
Optimization: Adjust video content based on performance metrics, refining for better engagement and results
Your main playgrounds:
Marketing communication: This is where you'll create stories that leave a mark and us stand out in the market. You'll be shaping the VUS brand identity through clever content strategies and engaging narratives that speak to our values-confident, caring, collaborative, and aspirational.
Performance marketing: This is where words meet results. You'll focus on crafting high-converting content for digital ads and video content that doesn't just get seen-it gets results.
Brand storytelling: Craft video content that reflects VUS's values: confidence, care, collaboration, and aspiration.
Content calendar: Contribute to shaping a video content calendar that ensures consistent storytelling across platforms.
Collaborations: Work with cross-functional teams to align video content with broader marketing initiatives.
Event support: Occasionally attend VUS events to shoot, record, and create recap videos, or to gather more video sources for the team.
Ad copy: Work with other team members to write conversion-focused copy for digital ads across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Google, helping drive engagement and results.
Performance video: Assist in writing scripts for high-impact, short-form videos that encourage action and help reach performance goals.
Content optimization: Understand the process of tweaking copy based on performance data, refining your work to achieve the best results.
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Multimedia, or a related field.
2-3 years of experience in video content creation, with a strong portfolio showcasing creativity and execution.
Passion for education and English learning.
Solid understanding of marketing principles and comprehensive ability to distinguish between different marketing concepts, especially performance marketing.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Skills and Qualifications
Filming expertise: Comfortable using both phone cameras and professional cameras for filming.
Video storytelling: A knack for crafting compelling narratives that resonate with audiences.
Editing proficiency: Experience with tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
Creative thinking: Ability to think outside the box and adapt ideas for different platforms.
Social media savvy: Familiarity with platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, including an understanding of trends and formats.
Collaborative mindset: Eagerness to brainstorm with teammates and bring ideas to life through teamwork.
Nice-to-have skills :
Knowledge of basic graphic design tools like Canva or Photoshop.
Basic understanding of performance marketing metrics and how video impacts campaign success.
