Role Purpose
The Video Editor will transform raw footage into strong commercial, branded and social content, working directly with Producers, Directors and creative teams.
We are looking for someone with strong visual taste who can work independently, understand creative direction quickly and take a project from footage organisation through to polished delivery.
Key Responsibilities
• Edit commercial, advertising and branded-content projects from rough cut through final delivery.
• Review, organise and select footage based on creative briefs, storyboards and Director/Producer direction.
• Develop edits with strong storytelling, pacing, rhythm, composition and visual continuity.
• Work across commercial films, branded content, social videos, Reels, BTS and short-form content.
• Work directly with Producers and Directors through creative reviews and revisions.
• Manage client, agency and internal feedback accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare different versions, cutdowns, aspect ratios and platform-specific deliverables when required.
• Coordinate with sound, music, colour grading, motion graphics and other post-production specialists when required.
• Maintain clean project structures, footage organisation and version control.
• Ensure final files meet technical specifications, deadlines and quality standards.
• Flag technical or editorial issues early rather than waiting until final delivery.
