Visual Merchandising Senior Executive (Consumer Electronics)

The Visual Merchandising Senior Executive is responsible for planning and executing in-store communication, POSM, shopfront investment, and brand visibility across Sony retail channels. The role enhances brand presence and customer experience while supporting sales through effective visual standards, cross-functional collaboration, budget control, and vendor management.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. POSM Planning & Management
Plan and execute POSM for product launches and promotional campaigns in collaboration with Product Marketing and Sales teams.
Develop POSM guidelines, allocation plans, and deployment schedules by channel and store level.
Monitor POSM execution through field reports, system tracking, and store audits to ensure quality and compliance.
Manage vendor production, project liquidation, and budget tracking to ensure cost efficiency and accurate forecasting.
2. Shopfront Investment & Maintenance
Develop shopfront proposals, including concepts, materials, and cost estimates based on sales performance and display strategies.
Coordinate with dealers and vendors to ensure timely and quality installation.
Manage shopfront maintenance and repair requests.
3. Sony Store & Sony Center Visibility
Develop display concepts and in-store communication assets to enhance product visibility and customer experience.
Conduct regular VMD audits and recommend layout improvements or renovations.
Coordinate with Sales and dealers to update planograms, key visuals, and POSM for new launches and key campaigns.
Optimize displays to improve product consultation and demonstration effectiveness.
4. Event & Activation Support
Support Marketing events with visual concepts, display layouts, and product setup.
Support Sales activations with POSM planning and allocation.
5. Vendor Management
Manage vendors on design, sampling, quotation, production timelines, and quality control.
Work with Procurement on vendor evaluation and sourcing to improve cost efficiency and quality.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Essential experiences
Bachelor's degree in Design or Visual Merchandising, Marketing or related fields.
5 years working experience in retail marketing filed, especially consumer electronics, technology or advertising industry.
Deep understanding of retail aesthetics, consumer traffic flow, planogram design, and spatial layout optimization.
Expertise in retail display materials and production techniques.
Essential skills
Good project management skill.
Strong numerical agility for spendings tracking, cost negotiation and budget management.
Proven ability to manage multi-vendor projects, strict deadlines and quality control.
Professional English communication skills.
Business level of Microsoft Power Point and Excel.
Design skill is a plus.
