Mô tả công việc

Assist the physical education teachers in performing duties where required in the Physical education department.
Assist in establishing and maintaining standards of student behaviour.
Assist the physical education teacher in creating a learning environment that is engaging and appropriate to the age and interests of the students.
Alert the teacher to the special needs of individual students.
Provide escort and assistance to children if necessary.
Help maintain individual progress records for each student.
Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students' safety, equipment, and facilities.
Encourage safety habits in work and organized game activities.
Assist in the maintenance and storage of equipment.
Set up equipment for classes.
Assist in implementing all policies and rules governing student life and conduct.
Help maintain order in the classroom and monitor students to keep them on tasks.
Perform a variety of office assistance as required and be familiar with software such as Microsoft Office suite, Google, and other sports-specific sports software programmes.
Perform related work as required.
Run extra-curricular sporting clubs and events.

Yêu cầu

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Good knowledge of the practices, methods, and techniques used in physical education teaching.
Understand child physical growth development from ages 3 to 18 years old.
Have a good understanding of writing, speaking, and reading English.
Ability to maintain confidential files and information and to compile reports.
Ability to deal effectively with students and school staff.
Ability to operate a standard office, word, and data processing equipment; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with teachers, parents, students and associates.
Ability to teach all sports including swimming.
Work evenings, weekends and travel overseas for sporting competitions when required.
Cover PE staff absences and teach physical education lessons on your own
