Mô tả công việc
• That Supervisors/Contractors have a clear plan that enables them to deliver on their responsibilities.
• Work is planned in an efficient manner
• Facility, equipment and tooling requirements are identified and managed.
• Risks and opportunities are effectively managed.
• Provide Supervisors with clear and measurable deliverables for Production.
• The performance standard for the work is understood by the worker performing the task (e.g. time, quality).
• Accurate status on tasks is provided.
• Productive work flow is maintained via a collaborative effort to enable supervisors/contractors to deliver on time, in full and to standard in a safe work environment.
• That Supervisors/Contractors have a visual and supportive leader enabling them and their teams to reach their full potential.
• Supervisors and workers know how they are individually performing and as a team.
• Work is complete on time, in full and to standard.
• The cycle of continual improvement is active, including waste elimination.
Yêu cầu
• Relevant or aligned Trade Qualification
• Developed leadership skills
• 3 years as a Supervisor (minimum)
• Proven related technical skills
• Good English (Reading- Writing- Speaking-Listening)
• Possess practical leadership skills, e.g. strong interpersonal skills, people management and communication skills
• Strong time management and proven experience in meeting deadlines
• Thorough knowledge of and proven implementation of organisational policies, business standards, procedures/work instructions and guidelines, including, but not restricted to HSEQ and HR
• Able to manage conflict.
• Strong construction and technical knowledge of Austal vessels
• Possess a style that motivates and encourages their team
• Excellent influencing and negotiating skills
• Proficient in MS Office suite including Word and Excel
