Work Location: District 07, HCMC
Monthly Salary: 74,4M - 111,6M

Manager of production and procurement teams at contract factories in Vietnam and other Southeast Asian countries for overall product development from development to shipping in the production of household goods (cooking utensils, tableware, cleaning products), furniture (wooden furniture, sofas, storage products), etc.

1. Product development
(1) Select appropriate factories from plans and drawings
(2) Cooperate and negotiate with targeted factories to achieve desired specifications and quality
(3) Do system registration work related to product development, quality testing arrangements, and creation of sub-materials
(4) Report and link with the head office (Tokyo) regarding the above contents.
2. Delivery date management
(1) Plan the schedule from product development to mass production, shipment, and launch
(2) Confirm production capacity and production LT before mass production
(3) On-site confirm production progress
(4) On-site confirm delivery management and shipping
(5) Report and link the above to the head office (Tokyo)
3. Quality Control
(1) Plan the predictive and preventive measures for quality problems in the product development stage
(2) Confirm the quality of mass-produced first-launched products
(3) Guide control methods and inspection methods at the factory
(4) Check the production environment at the factory and guide improvement
(5) Investigate the causes and remedial measures when quality defects occur
(6) Report and link to the head office (Tokyo)
4. Cost management
(1) Propose specifications to achieve target costs at the product planning stage
(2) Plan the cost reduction in areas other than product specifications, such as packaging specifications
(3) Improve the cost through process improvement and efficiency improvement planning
5. Sourcing and regional development of environmentally friendly materials
(1) Source the environmentally friendly materials (natural fibers, recycled materials, etc.) that can be procured in ASEAN countries, especially Vietnam
(2) Propose products necessary for daily life in the ASEAN region
(3) Disseminate ideas that could become the next mainstay products based on hints obtained from the lifestyle of ASEAN countries.
6. Organizational strengthening and human resource development
(1) Team management to achieve results in the above operations
(2) Recruitment and training of local human resources necessary to achieve results

Yêu Cầu Công Việc

・Language: Japanese and English - Business Level
・Experience:
- Experience as a team leader or manager, and able to build the culture of the company while developing the talents of the team
- Have basic skills and experience in sourcing new materials, new factories, and managing the production of mass-produced products.
- Experience and knowledge of garment production/quality control or planning and development
・Others:
- Basic PC skills (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Internet)
- Maximize the results of the organization while utilizing the individuality and strengths of team members.
- Achieve goals and solve problems while collaborating and negotiating with the head office and other company locations as needed.
- Has a strong will for business execution and can take leadership based on team play.
- Work for a long-term
