Accountant - (Avocado Va)

Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Management
Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Monitor cash flow, revenue, and expenses
2. eCommerce Accounting
Reconcile transactions from online sales channels (website, marketplaces, payment gateways)
Track and report revenue from multiple payment methods (COD, e-wallets, bank transfers)
Handle refunds, returns, and chargebacks accounting
3. Tax & Compliance
Ensure compliance with Vietnamese accounting standards (VAS) and tax regulations
Prepare and submit VAT, CIT, and PIT filings
Coordinate with auditors and tax authorities when needed
4. Inventory & Cost Control
Monitor inventory accounting and cost of goods sold (COGS)
Work closely with operations to ensure accurate stock valuation
5. Process Improvement
Identify and implement improvements in accounting processes and systems
Support automation of financial workflows where possible
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 2-4 years of accounting experience (eCommerce/retail experience is a plus)
Strong understanding of Vietnamese tax laws and accounting standards
Experience with accounting software (e.g., MISA, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets
Good English communication skills (written and verbal preferred)

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
Experience in eCommerce platforms (Shopee, Lazada, Shopify, etc.)
Knowledge of payment gateway reconciliation
Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment
