Admissions Manager

Position Objective:

The core purpose of the role of an Admissions Manager is -

• To be a brand ambassador who understands the school's value proposition and appreciates individual parents and students needs to effectively sell the school to prospective families.

• Develop a deep understanding of individual parent and student needs and appropriately tailor the approach to each situation to provide a personalized experience.

• To convert inquiries into firm applications, helping drive new enrolments



Responsibilities:

• Communicate with parents of prospective students as their first point of contact, to ensure they receive accurate and timely information and advice regarding admission to the school.

• Ensures the smooth running of meetings and visits, and conducts tours of the school as required.

• Provides post-tour follow up with each individual family continuing to foster a personal relationship

• Attends admissions-focused programmes of events such as open mornings, play days, business events, community events and school gatherings.

• Acts as an ambassador, representing the school in events relating to admissions with key external stakeholders

• Assists families if needed thru the application process thru to enrolment from a relationship approach

• Attends meetings on an as-needed basis as directed by the Director of Admissions.

• Advises the Director of Admissions & Market Growth, Senior Admissions Manager and or/and Head of School regarding observations about academics within the school, through statistical reporting, local and job knowledge.



The success of this role is measured by the number and proportion of opportunities that progress to application and offer status, the level of customer service provided, the conversion efficiency of the admissions process to ultimately provide a seamless admissions experience to prospective parents and students.



The job holder's responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young person's for whom s/he is responsible, or with whom s/he comes into contact will be to adhere to and ensure compliance with the relevant Cognita Safeguarding; Child Protection Policy and Procedures at all times. If in the course of carrying out the duties of the role, the job holder identifies any instance that a child is suffering or likely to suffer significant harm either at school or at home, s/he must report any concerns to the School's Child Protection Officer/Designated Safeguarding Lead or to the Head of indeed to the Regional CEP so that a referral can be made accordingly to the relevant third party services.
