Position Overview:
Admissions Officer is responsible for managing admissions for pathway programs and supporting students throughout their academic journey.
The role provides guidance on program requirements, study pathways, and transfer eligibility to partner universities, helping students stay aligned with their study plans.
In addition, the position supports students in academic orientation and career direction. The role is suitable for candidates with an interest in academic advising and supporting students in the higher education sector.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Admissions Duties
• Manage the admissions process from application review to offer issuance and enrolment.
• Assess applicants' academic qualifications and English language proficiency against program entry requirements.
• Prepare and issue admission documents such as conditional and unconditional offers.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth admissions operations.
2. Student Academic Advising
• Provide guidance to students on Study Plan (learning structures), academic requirements, and transfer pathways.
• Support and follow up with students to ensure they understand transfer requirements.
• Assist students in addressing academic concerns by coordinating with relevant academic departments when needed.
3. Academic and Career Orientation
• Provide general guidance on academic pathways and potential career directions related to students' programs.
• Support initiatives that help students better understand future academic and professional opportunities.
Yêu cầu
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Education: Bachelor degree in Business or a related field required
2. Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in admissions, academic advising, or student services, preferably in higher education or international programs.
3. Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in English (all four skills)
4. Personal Attributes:
- Patient, calm, and supportive when working with students.
- Responsible, proactive, and solution-oriented.
- Interested in working within the education and international education environment.
