Assembly Process Engineer

• Improve assembly processes to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Follow up and deploy new model project for production Line.
• Issue/control Work standard for all manufacturing.
• New models deploy from MT=> MP
• Cycle time control

• Layout concept/Process concept for Assembly/welding...
• Kaizen cycle time.
• Process making new production line, launching new product. (Collaborate with teams)
• Jig/tool/machine concept for Line based on request (work with supplier and teams)
• Calculation capacity of line and process
• New model preparation (investigation/PFMEA/Flow Process).
• Thinking about new technology to improve for old concept process.
• Time study/Takt time/Cycle time measurement.
• Trial cycle report for any changing point effect to process.
• Make work standard for new models.
• Co-operate with all departments to improve Quality/Safety.
• Guideline/Check sheet/parameter for production.
• Weekly and monthly report related process.
• Report to Manager
3. ACTIVITIES performed by the role (Day to Day activities - defines Day stat with and ends with activities )

• Monitor and analyze current assembly processes to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
• Follow up and deploy new model project for production Line.
• Develop, issue, and maintain Work Instructions (WI), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and Standard Work for all manufacturing processes.
• Manage the transition from Mass Trial to Mass Production,
• Monitor and analyze cycle time for each assembly process.
4. MAJOR CHALLENGES
(Challenges faced on an on-going basis in carrying out the job)
- Using the same machine but with different customer standards makes it difficult to calculate the process.
- The process requires low costs but high quality, making initial investment difficult.
- improving a process based on an outdated fixture concept leads to difficulties in upgrading (due to obsolescence or significantly higher costs equivalent to a complete overhaul...).

- Layout design or new machine setup.
- Calculate production capacity for the new model.
