KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Job Summary
• The Assistant Banquet Manager supports the Banquet Manager in overseeing the smooth operation of banquet events, ensuring the highest levels of guest satisfaction, and managing a team of banquet staff. This role involves coordinating all aspects of banquet functions, including logistics, staffing, and guest services, while maintaining a focus on the quality of service and event execution.

Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven experience in banquet or event management, ideally in a hotel, resort, or large event venue.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple events and tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests, staff, and other departments.
• Ability to work well under pressure and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with experience managing a team of staff.
• Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including catering, service styles, and banquet setups.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, depending on event schedules.
• Basic financial and budgeting skills.
• A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Event Management, or a related field is preferred.
