We are seeking a talented and proactive Assistant Designer to join our team and support our design initiatives. The ideal candidate will assist in various design tasks and possess the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
The Assistant Designer will work closely with the
Senior Designer from New York Office to sketch and finalize garments from development to production stages, focusing on children's sleepwear for infants, toddlers, and big kids.
Responsibilities
• Update line sheets and licensor boards.
• Create and update Tech Pack design documents and construction sketches.
• Assist with load requests.
• Collaborate with the Senior Designer and manufacturing partners to achieve optimal construction and fit.
• Develop and maintain a library of unused artwork and images.
• Maintain a reference spec library for each retailer for pre-costing.
• Compile competitive shopping visuals into reports.
Yêu cầu
• Strong sketching skills
• Garment construction knowledge needed
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Share
• Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative
• Passion for apparel business and ability to work effectively as a team player
• Strong planning and organizational skills with a sense of priority for deadlines and attention to detail
