Assistant Finance Manager (Vietnam)

* Working location: Bien Hoa 2 Industrial Zone, Bien Hoa, Dong Nai
* Key Objective of Role
The Assistant Finance Manager is responsible for supporting the Finance Manager in managing the financial activities of the organization. This includes financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and analysis. The role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and management practices. The Assistant Finance Manager will also ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
* Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Reporting and Analysis
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities related to production, operations, and projects.
• Support the Finance Manager in financial forecasting and budgeting processes.
• Conduct variance analysis between actual and standard costs to assist management in decision-making.
• Manage the cash flow planning process (CMS) and ensure funds availability.
2. Budgeting and Forecasting
• Assist in the development and implementation of the annual budget.
• Monitor budget performance and report any deviations.
• Work with department heads to ensure budget adherence and provide financial insights.
3. Accounting, Tax, Audit, and Compliance
• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions.
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and audits.
• Control tax compliance, including periodic tax declarations (CIT, VAT, FCT).
• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and external regulations.
• Assist with internal and external audits related to cost accounting and inventory.
4. Financial Systems and Controls
• Implement and maintain effective financial controls and procedures.
• Assist in the improvement of financial systems and processes.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy in financial reporting systems.
5. Others
• Monitor loan payments (TF).
• Monitor and submit statistical and other reports to the government as required.
• Provide support as assigned.
