The AVP, PHC Vietnam, will serve as the Country Manager, holding full accountability for business performance, people leadership, and strategic market development. This role will oversee all personnel and functions-including sales, marketing, finance, regulatory, distribution, and supply chain-to ensure the sustainable growth and profitability of the Vietnam operations.
The AVP will work closely with regional leadership and external stakeholders to establish PHC Vietnam as a trusted healthcare partner in Vietnam, leading market expansion across consumer healthcare, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, nutrition, and hospital supplies.

Key duties and responsibilities
1. People & organizational leadership
• Act as leader and mentor for all personnel in Vietnam, fostering a high-performance culture.

2. Strategic & general management

3. Sales &
marketing leadership
• Set and deliver sales and revenue targets with clear accountability for P&L, EBITDA, and cash flow performance.
• Lead portfolio growth by strengthening current brands and driving new product launches.
• Develop winning marketing strategies for Rx, OTC, and consumer health portfolios, with strong focus on brand equity and digital engagement.
• Build competitive advantage through data-driven market insights and customer segmentation.
4. Commercial & operational excellence
• Oversee inventory management, demand forecasting, and supply chain coordination to ensure uninterrupted product availability.
• Implement best practices in
trade marketing, channel development, and promotional efficiency.
• Strengthen financial discipline, ensuring on-time collections and healthy working capital.
• Implement robust reporting systems for business performance, competitor activity, and market trends.
5. Distribution & channel management
• Select, manage, and evaluate distributors to maximize revenue and ensure consistent supply.
• Oversee pricing strategy, margin control, and distributor relationships.
• Expand reach through innovative channel strategies (retail pharmacy, hospital, e-commerce, modern trade).
• Secure product listings and negotiate favorable terms with key accounts and chains.
6. Stakeholder engagement
• Act as the local representative and spokesperson for PHC Vietnam with government agencies, medical associations, and business partners.
• Build strong partnerships with KOLs, healthcare professionals, and industry associations to support business growth.
• Collaborate closely with regional teams to leverage synergies in brand development, regulatory affairs, and compliance.
• Strong leadership background in pharmaceuticals, consumer healthcare, or related industries.
• Demonstrated ability to drive business results with P&L accountability or significant functional leadership experience.
• Proven track record in team leadership, business growth, or cross-functional management.
