About the role
We are seeking a well-qualified expatriate Associate Director/ Director to augment our Transaction Services team in Ho Chi Minh City. As a pivotal unit in KPMG's renowned Deal Advisory practice, our Transaction Services group excels in offering top-tier financial due diligence and structuring advice.
In this critical role, you will leverage your seasoned expertise to provide advice to local and global corporate and private equity clients across diverse industries and transaction types. Collaborations with other professionals across our deal advisory businesses and firm will also be essential.
Key responsibilities
• Engagement Management: Shape and steer multiple large, intricate workstreams within mutable and fast-paced environments.
• Business Development: Cultivate, commercialize and sustain relationships with management teams, contributing to the firm's overall growth. Initiate and develop propositions around specific themes/clients. Act as the main liaison for foreign private equities and investors. The primary coverage market includes Vietnam and Cambodia (as applicable).
• Risk Management: Ascertain and manage risks, ensuring effective implementation of the Firm's risk management frameworks.
• People Development: Identify team members' development needs and expedite growth by implementing appropriate plans/frameworks, emphasizing coaching and skills transfer. Exemplify the firm's values to both colleagues and clients.
• Service Quality: Ensure the delivery of high-quality service to both internal and external clients.
• Advisory Skills: Capitalize on your extensive expertise to serve as a trusted advisor.
Yêu cầu
• Minimum 8 years in a transaction advisory role, including at least 2-3 years as an Associate Director/ Director at an international professional services firm.
• Strong academic and numerate background (ACCA, CPA. CFA or equivalent highly desirable)
• Extensive experience in managing advisory or transaction-related engagements
• Remarkable personal influence and self-awareness
• Excellent written and verbal communication, coupled with strong presentation skills.
• Superior analytical skills including the ability to interpret data, generate insights and construct solutions
• Proven ability to lead and collaborate effectively within high-performance and multi-disciplinary teams
• Proficient IT skills, with a thorough command of Excel, Powerpoint and Word.
