About the Department
The Human Resources function balances organisational aspirations and employee needs, as we accelerate and strengthen people capabilities to enable sustainable business growth at UOB. Overview of the Role
Provide expert consultation on Total Rewards and Performance Management to ensure competitiveness, compliance, and effective implementation. The role also supports budget planning, HR analytics, and the coordination of HR initiatives, including digitalization and process improvements.
Job Responsibilities
Total Rewards
• Provide analysis and recommendations to develop, review, and implement Compensation, Benefits, and Recognition guidelines, ensuring effectiveness, cost efficiency, and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and employment standards.
• Act as SME for Compensation, Benefits and Performance by providing expert advice and consultation to stakeholders; manage Performance and/or Pay Review processes and/or benefits surveys.
• Act as the escalation point for complex and technical issues related to Performance Management and/or Total Rewards.
• Apply job evaluation methodologies and guidelines, advising stakeholders on job grading, structure, and internal equity.
• Advise stakeholders on Mobility guidelines, ensuring alignment with Group policies and frameworks and effective local adoption.
• Contribute to incentive governance, including reviewing and validating incentive and recognition payments to ensure compliance with approved incentive programs.
• Contribute to budget planning and forecasting, including ongoing budget management.
Strategic HR:
• Analyze Human Capital Management data; develop, enhance dashboards and analytics to support business and HR decision-making.
• Provide advisory support on employee data governance, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Represent Country HR in Group forums related to system enhancement and related initiatives.
• Act as a project coordinator for HR initiatives, including HR digitalization and policies and process improvements, ensuring projects are delivered within agreed timelines and scope.
• Support other initiatives as assigned by Line Managers.
Yêu cầu
• Bachelor's degree.
• From 6-8 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits, preferably with at least 3 years in the banking or financial services industry.
• Solid HR fundamentals with good business acumen and strong knowledge of the Vietnam Labor Code.
• Good understanding and experience in salary structure, benefits and compensation policy development, surveys/ benchmarking and job evaluation systems.
• Strong analytical, data interpretation, time management, and project coordination skills.
• Hands-on experience with C&B programs, salary surveys, and job evaluation methodologies.
• Strong understanding of and network within the Vietnam salary market.
• Experience with Workday system is preferred.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions.
• Strong learning mindset, self-motivation, and adaptability.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver results within deadlines.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Power BI are a plus.
