Backend Developer (Java/Kotlin)

Job Overview: The Engineering team is responsible for not only developing new features but also for the investigation of production issues to ensure the stable operation of our services. Our target users are different for each application. You must understand those differences and reflect on the final products. In this role, you participate in architectural design discussions and implement high-quality microservices utilizing Kotlin and Spring Boot. You will work with modern protocols like GraphQL and gRPC, and help deploy applications on AWS and Kubernetes (K8S). As a team member, you are actively involved in team process improvement, participate in code reviews, and contribute to team meetings. Also, you always think about what's the real problem and solve it from the root rather than delivering the workaround.
Key responsibilities:
Develop and maintain backend applications using Java/Kotlin
Design, build, and optimize MySQL databases
Implement high-performance solutions for backend systems
Develop and integrate APIs
Participate in system architecture design
Collaborate with frontend teams and other stakeholders
Write unit tests and ensure code quality
Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing with colleagues
