Backend Engineer (Middle/Senior/Lead)

Role Description
Analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
Execute manual test cases across multiple platforms (web, mobile, API) to ensure product quality.
Perform various testing types including functional, integration, regression, usability, and exploratory testing.
Ensure full testing coverage for end-to-end business flows, especially in fintech systems.
Identify, document, and track bugs using issue tracking systems (e.g., JIRA).
Collaborate closely with developers, BAs, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality product delivery.
Design and develop automation test scripts using Selenium/ Playwright/ Cypress... (UI automation).
Maintain and execute automation test suites as part of regression testing.
Mentor junior testers and contribute to QA best practices and process improvements.
Qualifications
At least 3+ years of experience in Manual Testing (Core Payment/ Finance), with exposure to automation.
Hands-on experience with UI test automation is a plus.
Strong experience in API testing (Postman, RESTful APIs, etc.).
Solid knowledge of SQL for data validation and database testing.
Good understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
From basic to higher understanding of automation frameworks and test scripting.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving mindset.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Good English communication skills are necessary.
