Banking Operations Assistant Manager

Responsibilities:
• Support daily operational activities of the branch, including back-office processing, settlement, payment operations, account services, and operational support functions.
• Process and verify banking transactions accurately and in a timely manner, strictly adhering to the Bank's policies, procedures, and local regulatory requirements.
• Assist management in implementing, maintaining, and following operational policies, procedures, and robust internal controls.
• Monitor daily transaction processing to ensure compliance with internal standards and risk control frameworks.
• Proactively identify operational issues, gaps, or control weaknesses, and escalate potential risks to management in a timely manner.
• Coordinate closely with other key departments (e.g., Finance, Risk, Compliance, IT, and Front Office) to ensure seamless and efficient cross-functional operational processes.
• Liaise effectively with Head Office, external service providers, and relevant counterparties on operational matters, system enhancements, or troubleshooting when required.
• Prepare, review, and submit accurate operational reports, regulatory reports, and internal reports within assigned deadlines.
• Active support in system implementation (Core Banking), process improvement, and automation initiatives to enhance overall operational efficiency and reduce manual workload.
