Key responsibilities & duties
The Business Development Coordinator (BDC) works with new and potential customers, and are responsible for the quoting and onboarding process of new customers to LTP. Primary focus is understanding LTP pricing structure to make competitive quotes, understand and investigate customer need's and cooperation within the company, problem solving and proactive solutions to win new customers and ensure quotes and samples are delivered on time.
A. Responsibilities in detail
Quotations & Pricing
• Prepare quotations for new styles and customers based on techpacks and samples.
• Understand LTP pricing structure and price breakdown including minute costs used globally, consumption and other elements affecting the price (fabric, trim, SAM, development fee, MOQ, surcharges, freight)
• Propose competitive prices based on experience, market knowledge and accurate input from internal departments.
• Uphold margin targets while also demonstrating ability to assess whether prices are competitive
• Develop and follow global templates for quotations, presentations for customers, internal overviews about product info and capabilities
• Meet deadlines on quotation lead time.
Sampling & Onboarding
• Ensure P1 is delivered on time
• Closely coordination with R&D, sample room and procurement for quotation and sampling
• Ensure smooth handover from Business Development team to Sales team from P1 is finalized
• Align customer expectations with LTP sample and production timelines.
• Prepare for customers visits, including transportation, agenda, internal briefing, prepare meeting room, arrange lunch and other task including a visit to LTP.
Customer & Industry
• Maintain a fair knowledge level of the sports industry, trends and brands
• Evaluate commercial potential and alignment with LTP capabilities
• Analyse and qualify new customers to understand strategy, product range and prices, positioning and needs
• Ability to prioritize customer quotations and sampling timelines based on potential and qualifications.
• Communicate with new customers including introduction meetings, pricing discussions, and alignment on timelines and expectations
Internal stakeholder management
• Collaborate closely across the Business Development teams in Europe and Asia, sharing expertise, implementing best practices and creating a global LTP approach
• Collaborate closely with other departments including Sales, R&D, Procurement, Sampling and Production.
Yêu cầu
• Bachelor's degree, major in Garment, or related area
• At least 03 years working experience in Product Development or Merchandising
• Flexible mindset and sense of urgency.
• Proactive and solution oriented
• Good team player and work well with deadlines
• Strong communication skills and ability to communicate clearly to customers
• Fluent in English: verbal and written
