* Main Purpose of the Role & key responsibilities
The Business Development Manager is an integral part of ZIM Logistics Vietnam. This role is primarily responsible for driving business growth by developing new business or partnerships within the logistics industry.
* Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop, implement, and manage a strategic business development plan to promote growth and expansion of ZIM Logistics Vietnam's services, which include air, ocean, trucking, warehousing, customs clearance and project logistics.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring that our services meet their requirements.
- Market Analysis: Conduct extensive market research to identify potential business opportunities. This includes understanding the logistics market, competitors, and trends within the freight forwarding industry.
- Negotiation and Sales: Negotiate contracts and close agreements with potential partners or customers, driving profitable and sustainable growth.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the internal teams (like Operations, Customer Service, and Finance) to ensure seamless service delivery and address any customer issues promptly.
- Product Development: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and enhance service offerings based on market demands and customer feedback.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular performance and progress reports for senior management.

Yêu cầu
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Development Manager in the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
- Strong understanding of logistics operations including air, ocean, trucking, and warehousing services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude.
- Ability to build rapport with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in English and Vietnamese is necessary.
