Job Summary
Responsible for business development activities including identifying new customers, receiving RFQs, preparing quotations, and following up project progress. Manages the entire process from sample creation, submission, approval, to mass production planning, then hands over to the assigned
sales staff.
1. Customer Development:
- Contact and meet with new potential customers to introduce the company and obtain RFQs.
- Proactively seek business opportunities and understand customer needs to offer suitable HEV products.
- Monitor and report competitor activities.
- Improve product knowledge to handle customer discussions confidently.
2. RFQ Management:
- Follow up RFQ progress and report to
Assistant Manager/Manager.
- Prepare quotations, monitor results, and manage sample approval process until mass production.
- Transfer approved project to the sales team with complete documentation.
3. Customer Relationship Management:
- Ensure high customer satisfaction by providing timely, value-added responses.
- Demonstrate deep understanding of customer needs.
- Coordinate internal resources to meet customer expectations.
- Build trust through open and responsive communication.
- Regularly update customers on delivery schedules and related information.
- Handle pricing/quantity adjustments and issue necessary correction documents.
- Share customer requirements with internal departments in a timely manner.
Working Conditions
Work in a factory environment with limited exposure to hazards.
Internal/External Contacts
• Internal: Coordination with Production, Engineering, Warehouse, IMPEX, and QA departments.
• External: Communication with local and international customers and suppliers.
• Education: College degree in Business, Accounting, Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication in English or Japanese.
- Negotiation and planning skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional communication.
