We are a specialty chemical manufacturer, supplying a wide range of products to industrial manufacturing markets. We have established a company in Vietnam and now seeking an independent Business Manager to implement the effective start of this new entity.
Candidate Qualification & Background
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Marketing, Science or Engineering is preferred.
- Minimum Ten years' experience in Sales to industrial markets dealing with Metals
- Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build strong relationships
- An established and diverse network of industrial sales and distribution channels
- Comprehensive knowledge of engineering and manufacturing sectors in Vietnam
- Experience with markets dealing with Metal Fabrication and Machining
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English & Vietnamese
- Independent & self-motivated
- Vietnamese driver's license and own vehicle

General Description of Duties & Responsibilities
- Identify business opportunities in the target sectors of: Metal fabrication, Metals Machining and Non Destructive Testing , then create and implement the business plan
- Identify, appoint & grow relationships with channel and distribution partners throughout Vietnam
- Work with key decision makers of customers to create demand for products
- Manage the full spectrum of logistics activities and supervise 3PL/4PL logistics team to ensure the smooth running of operations, including inbound shipments, inventory management, warehousing management
- Facilitate achieving registrations and import permits for the products where required with support of Compliance Team at head office.
- Business development planning & activity implementation including recruitment of salespersons as required.
- Manage marketing, sales, and partnerships with support from Singapore office.
- Manage training, motivation & incentivization for sales teams & distributors with support from Singapore Office.
- Responsible for the P&L of the company
Location
- The position shall initially be a home based office.
Report
- Will report to both the Singapore-based Regional General and Sales Managers.

- Base Salary of USD 2500/month
