Chief Accountant (Manufacturing)

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the full spectrum of accounting and finance operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Costing, Inventory, Tax, and Cash Flow management.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and company policies.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, including VAT, PIT, CIT, foreign contractor tax, and other relevant regulations.
• Work directly with tax authorities, external auditors, banks, and government agencies regarding accounting, tax, and financial matters.
• Manage costing and inventory accounting processes within the manufacturing environment, ensuring accurate product costing and inventory valuation.
• Analyze financial performance, manufacturing costs, and operational expenses to support management decision-making and cost optimization initiatives.
• Develop, review, and improve accounting procedures, internal controls, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance efficiency and compliance.
• Prepare management reports, cash flow forecasts, budgeting reports, and financial analysis for the leadership team.
• Lead and mentor the accounting team to ensure high performance, accuracy, and professional development.
• Support ERP/accounting system improvements and participate in finance transformation initiatives when required.
