Purpose & general responsibilities of the position:
Role Purpose Statement:
• As Chief Accountant for ILD Vietnam (Company) you will complete or oversee in a variety of professional assignments involving General accounting & Statuary reporting, the design, maintenance, and implementation of accounting systems; the systematic classification and assessment of accounting data; and the preparation of related managerial and financial reports.
Main Accountabilities:
• Will be responsible for all accounting activities of Company in accordance with Vietnam accounting law and inter company.
• Ensure and make all payments to follow timeline and the Company Policies and Procedures
• Make sure timely and accurate accounting record to software.
• Monitor revenue, costing, expenses analysis.
• Manage Fixed assets, depreciation allocate and Fixed asset liquidation.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, yearly report for local government and group.
• Prepare annual budget.
• Assist Project Controller in preparation of Financial Reports following Vietnamese Accounting Standard (VAS) and IFRS
• Ensure of keeping timelines for all reports to local Authorities (Statistic Department, State bank, IZ Management, DPI
• Handle tax matters, checking monthly tax reports and Taxation issue. Tax finalization (VAT, PIT, CIT, WHT...)
• Control AR and AP
• Review the daily and monthly bank reconciliation of all bank accounts,
• Prepare annual financial statement, dealing with auditor for year-end audit.
• Co-operating with other department in preparing report required by Vietnamese law such as: report to Statistic Dept., Dept. of Planning & investment.
• Monitors, identifies, and communicates over expenditures to faculty and administrative staff. May resolve funding shortfalls.
• Reviews and prepares financial statements and accounting reports for departmental management and federal agencies.
• Develops guidelines for the maintenance and reconciliation of financial data; maintains and reconciles the more difficult financial control records for expenditures, allotments, receipts, and encumbrances.
• Conducts surveys to prepare recommendations for improvements, controls, new methods, and other changes to improve the efficiency of accounting systems.
• Reviews budgets and prepares related budget documents.
• Provides consultation to local governmental units and others regarding accounting systems and generally accepted accounting principles and theories.
• Maintains records and prepares reports and correspondence related to the work.
• Cash flow monitoring and report.
• Control data from actual to SAP system to make sure that match & correct.
• Performs related work as assigned.
• Provide leadership to accounting team to make sure that they provide quality and within the set deadlines.
• Provide leadership to the Support Services (both internal and external) to make sure that the needs of our internal and external customers are met
