Scope and General Purpose of Job:
· Responsible for leading the pre-opening of the Revolution Express steam train and the restaurant stations from a commercial point of view.
· Responsible for leading the creation and implementation of the official Revolution Express website, Booking Engine and social media platforms.
· To be the lead Brand Voice ambassador of the Revolution Express in all commercial touch points.
· To utilize all skills within Marketing, PR, E-Commerce,
Digital Marketing, Sales and communications to drive the markets to reach the Revolution Express's budget and go beyond.
· To serve as the primary point of contact for the Revolution Express within the responsible area of overall communication related questions and activities.
· To manage the daily sales and reservation activities of the people in the teams.
· To oversee general department operations for sales, Marketing and reservation.
· To lead and coach the full commercial team to best possible performance for the Revolution Express.
· Be the main responsible leader of managing and coordinating responses to consumers utilizing our social media and apps channels to communicate.
· To keep a well prepared 12-months commercial communication strategy for the Revolution Express to ensure its reviewed on a weekly basis to catch any new opportunities in markets.
· Responsible for commercial budget development and execution in conjunction with Operational Manager.
Lead and promote a heavy content management strategy for the Revolution Express.
Implement revenue management operations, procedures and best practices for seats, table, events, buy-outs, and other revenue streams.
Core Job Responsibilities & Duties:
· Oversee all marketing/PR and digital and ecommerce activity including the management of the Revolution Express's digital f&b, attractions, online activities, online upgrade systems, apps or any additional initiatives that will drive performance for the Revolution Express.
· Heavily and personally engage with all DMCs, Tour Operators and the travel trade in contracting and driving Revenue to all aspects of the Revolution Express Business.
· To implement Revolution Express long-term distribution strategy for 3rd parties (OTA and others) working in line with our corporate guidelines for Revolution Express.
· To monitor and report on the Revolution Express's effective use of electronic distribution tools and extranets and procedures in areas of business intelligence to maximize competitive advantage in the marketplace.
· To lead the digital marketing efforts to include, Search Engine Marketing (including PPC and SEO), Mobile Marketing, Display Advertising, Social Media advertisement and assisting with Social Media Planning.
· To assist in providing the Revolution Express with external market intelligence using dedicated industry tools.
· Lead and coordinate the development of e-Commerce tactics for the Revolution Express in line with the overall Revolution Express corporate guidelines, including SEO, SEM campaign preparation and analysis. Advise the Revolution Express and measure/report on the results.
· Implement best practice rules to optimize content (images, content, links, and accurate translations) relevancy, accuracy and performance on [protected info]
· Develop measure and optimize ROI on new traffic generating channels.
· E-Commerce - Revolution Express website management, mini-site development management, etc.
· Develop Ecommerce strategies and best practices for the Revolution Express web site such as content management, traffic driving tactics and other strategies.
· Responsible for maintaining relevant and search oriented key words to be up to date and optimized in all agreed languages.
- Collaborate with partner agencies to develop annual business plans for Revolution Express to ensure sound comprehensive strategic recommendations and ensure ROI goals are achieved for SEO, PPC, mobile and social activity.
- Develop measures and assist in executing social media activities, which will include put together creative strategies to generate Fan Base.
- Working with agency on tagging and monitoring social media performance using approved tools.
- Responsible to drive/evaluate business case documents put together by Revolution Express for use of Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Line, WeChat, Tik Tok, X or other social media channel requests to drive production to our websites.
- Set overall communication direction and strategies in conjunction with Commercial Director, to help drive room and other related revenues (i.e. F&B, events, etc.)
- Maintain overall Revolution Express commercial budget and related vendor/agency relationships (i.e. Supporting billing and invoicing needs with the Revolution Express, etc.).
- Identify, articulate and rationalize insights and recommendations to Operations Manager.
- Participate in all strategic reviews with Operations Manager to establish all the strategic actions and budgets for the Revolution Express.
- Provide ongoing updates of industry news, trends, issues, site features and best practices to Operations Manager and help educate Revolution Express on overall commercial communication knowhow.
- Meet with overall communication industry representatives where needed to gain insight to best practices and trends.
- Primary responsible for driving the Revolution Express marketing and PR efforts.
- Develop strong and productive relationships with trade and consumer medias, bloggers and influencers to ensure the Revolution Express is always exposed in relevant focus areas/markets.
- Work closely with the dedicated international media people/agents on behalf of the Revolution Express to ensure best possible coverage on the international scene.
- Develop and implement partner ticket selling program for hotels, corporate companies and more.
- Coach appointed team member to drive the relationships of the Vietnamese market for consumer medias, bloggers and influencers to ensure the Revolution Express have a very strong domestic appeal.
