Mô tả công việc

As a Structural QA Engineer, you will be responsible for all the engineering stuffs related to Structural Analysis software including but not limited: Loading, Member Analysis, Joint Stress index, Plating that requires to clearly understand US and Canada Building Code and Standards. And you will also be responsible for the Quality Assurance of Web-based/ Windows Desktop applications and work directly with our stakeholders in the US to provide support for Simpson Strong-Tie's application development.
Break down requirement to develop Structural Test Case in order to test all the specific conditions and send the request to automation
Responsible for all aspects of testing and Quality Assurance thru the full project lifecycle (from Blueprinting through Implementation).
Create and execute test cases for new features and functionality in the software to confirm it performs to expected behavior, and documenting defects and proposed enhancements. This task should take from Smoke Test, Functional Test to Regression Test
Perform Engineering Testing and work with SME/ US Engineers to research new methods, theories of calculation or investigate issues.
Work with US Engineers in order to execute Testing regarding to Engineering to make sure all the engineering items have been covered in test cases. Investigate and verify if Analysis Report in the software / applications is correct, expected or issue. (If Engineering Testing)
Perform reports to QC leader the progress and status of the assigned tasks

Yêu cầu

Bachelor in Civil & Structural Engineering
Good English communication skill (both verbal and non-verbal)
1+ years in Structural Engineering or Prefabricated Wood/Steel Construction Design , Take Off or Software Testing (Freshers are Acceptable)
Having knowledge in Structure Analysis or Engineering Calculation.
Understanding in US & CAN Building Code: ACI, AISC, IBC/IRC, ASCE, NDS / CSA-O86 (could be trained more)
Capable to calculate the Engineering Stuffs in a Frame, Truss or a Beam with minimum instruction
Flexibility to adapt to changing instructions and requirements with high sense of commitment
Ability to work independently as well as be proactive result-oriented team player
Willingness to troubleshoot and solve complex problems
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with other developers, and relevant partners
Integrity, Teamwork, Autonomous and Customer-Oriented
Ability to work with the basic VBA or any programming language (Preferred)
Having experience in software testing will be an advantage
